How to Convert Large DWG Models?
There are several things to check which may help this result. First, go to Interface Settings, use the pull-down menu “Preferred Interface” to select the Teigha Interface. Then at the bottom section of the menu panel you should see some Teigha Interface parameters which can be adjusted. Firstly try enabling “Suppress Lines Conversion”. Lines do not compress nearly as well as surfaces. If this is the case, then re-enable lines and use the Advanced tab to enable simplification options and set triangle could to 1 million, and lines count to 150k. Secondly, check of there are multiple views getting duplicated in the PDF model tree layers. If yes, then use the Teigha “Views Selection” to specify exactly one view which has the content you wish to convert, ignoring the others. Finally, if you have curved surfaces, Bsplines, NURBS, in your model, adjust the factors Between Knots and Normal tolerance. You can also try unselecting Export Layers and Export Materials in case these are creating a large number of fragmented parts in the model tree.
